You probably found out about Robin and Positive Parenthood from someone you trust. Often, it goes something like this: you're struggling, and someone who's family is kind of like yours sees you. This person says to you... "hey, my kid was also <banging their head/having a tough time washing their hands/refusing to put on socks/falling apart at Whole Foods/insert behavior> and I didn't know what to do, but then I found Robin and Positive Parenthood. It changed my life. You need this class."
Probably, you were rather reluctant in the beginning. Maybe you protested with "this might work if you have one kid, but I have three!" Perhaps you raised your eyebrows at the idea that your kid wasn't trying to push all of your buttons. You might have let out a deep sigh when the homework was to praise your child's behavior more, and when you suggested there wasn't a whole lot to praise, Robin told you to "praise the shards."
But the point it, you got into the 12-week Guiding Cooperation class, right? And it changed your life. It allowed you to build relationships with your kids. It offered you a way to understand what was happening for your child. It was a coping strategy. You held on tight, and you practiced, and you got really vulnerable and shared tough moments with your peers in the class.... and slowly, little bit by little bit, things began to shift. You began to shift. Your child began to shift. You began to notice there was so much more than just shards to praise. The behaviors didn't completely vanish, but you now had the tools to deal with them in a kind, supportive way.
And now we want you to share YOUR story with your friends who could benefit from Positive Parenthood. And if you do that... you get something golden: when you refer three families who sign up for Positive Parenthood, you get 50% off an in-home coaching session with Robin. Got five families to sign up? FREE COACHING SESSION.
Let me say that again, for all you people who want Robin to move in with you for a week: all you have to do is find some friends who need Positive Parenthood as much as you did, and talk about your experience. Send them to the website and the instagram account. Then send a joint email to them and firstname.lastname@example.org.... and you're well on your way to some 1:1 Robin time!
